Hi Guys and Gals, I am new to this board and have been reading over the weekend. I have a question relating to Lex Law and CreditLawyer.com. While I do find most of the information I've discovered here very helpful, I am interested in paying a company like LexLaw if they are effective. It would seem to me that consumer responses sent by legal counsel would bear more weight than that of my own. Has anyone here had experiences from these firms? I see alot of testimonials on their site that looks quite impressive. Before my divorce a few years ago, I had a mid 780 FICO, owned 2 houses, 5 new cars, motorhome, motorcycle, 1/2 interest in an airplane...etc. Now my scores are in the 550 range. My ex and I filed BK7 and was discharged in 2003. I just got a great job and am planning on the future by rebuilding my life, and credit is the place I need to start! Bottom line is, are these law firms effective? If so, I would happily pay whatever required. Please advise....and, HI ALL!
There was just a recent discussion on this. Unfortunately, I don't really have time to type a lot right now, I just passed through and saw your post. You can read the recent discussion here.
