I think I am going to file a lawsuit against a CA. I have questions, though...

Can I file in the county that I live in, or do I have to file in the county the CA is located in?

Do I have to have damages (denied credit)?

I have been reading through past posts and see lots of lawsuits against CRAs but not many against CAs. Anything special I need to think about??

I am filing on one too!!! They keep calling after I have mailed CRR & a fax with confirmation regarding debt validation and C & D. They don't get it. I just filed a complaint with the Texas AG. I have all the calls recorded on tape with date & time and she is even acknowledging she received the CRR and the fax. STUPID BIACH!!!

Well, I'm kinda nervous about it. I've never been to court before. Do you think it's like Law & Order? LOL

So, you can file the lawsuit solely on the basis of FDCPA violations, correct? And is that $1000 per violation?
