Lawsuit Evidence?

My credit repair consists primarily of getting several lates from more than a year ago deleted from my reports. The lates are for a few accounts that have been fully paid. I have disputed the lates with the CRAs but have seen no sign of their removal. The 30 days will be up soon and I intend to sue if the lates are not deleted. I have my online bank statements showing that I made payments on those accounts at the time they are being reported as late. (If necessary, I could probably order copies of the cancelled checks from the bank but that is a real hassle). Should I send the online statements to the CRAs with an intent to sue letter, or should I just file suit? Also, do I have to sue the OCs as well as the CRAs? I do not want money...just deletions. Thanks for any advice as to the next step I should take.

Just hang in there until this investigation is up Rob.

Then come back HERE and let us know what happens.

Be careful with this they may delete the account instead of just removing the lates

Good point. I definitely do not want the accounts deleted! How likely is it that the CRA will just delete the whole tradeline as opposed to correcting the late entries? Any suggestions as to how I can minimize the chance of having the whole tradeline deleted, as that will probably end up lowering my score.

Make the OC prove their claim it was late.
