How do I arrange my lawsuit? I have reviewed the Lizardking and LKH's 10 minute lawsuits. But, I have to put it on their paperwork and I am probably going to handwrite it. Would I list it as count 1,2,3.....etc? Or would I write a narrative as to what happened? Do I quote the FCRA and FDCPA and the section it pertains to? Do you use regular language or do I throw in some legalize? You have mandatory mediation before it goes to trial is this a good thing or should I send a settlement offer with the Sherriff at the time of service? Thanks!
1)yes I,II,III,IV,V etc 2)Under each number, describe what happened. 3)Quote the rules whereever it applies 4)Don't try to get too fancy. 5)I sent an offer for settlement with my lawsuit as did LK if I remember right. Go ahead and send it. Mediation, often times will result in an agreement in a short amount of time.
Thanks, LKH! I am probably going to do a combo of itemizing and a narrative. I'll call the courthouse to see if they will deliver a settlement along with the service. Are there any settlement letters posted here? I havent' been able to find any.
