Has anyone heard of or doing business with Lenox Lending Group out of Providence RI? I have googled them and checked the BBB and have found no info. Just want to find out if they are legit or just another scam. lenoxlendinggroup dot com
lenox lending group - any news hello oopsydaisy did you manage to find any info on this company? or did you get a loan with them? as i have applied with them and been pre-approved just wondered if it was a scam or not.
When I googled them I found no information. I googled all the names listed on the loan docs and found nothing. Then I googled the phone number and fax number. The address was an office building in RI but the suite was not listed under their name. The fax number was in Indiana and when I googled that I got one hit on a credit type board which described a company, Omni, I think that had the same practice as Lenox. Approved for a loan with a small deposit, they never saw the money though it had only been about 2 days. When I talked with Lenox and they said the deposit had to be Western Union it sent up red flags and I did not pursue it further. I don't know if they are legit or not but I could find very little info on them and decided it wasn't worth the risk.
Lenox lending Please do not send any money to this Company. I was just scammed by another company. If you are approved with a legitimate company there is no need to send money upfront. I was lucky enough to stop the Western Union transaction, but some are not. This company in what I am reading is a scam also. Good Luck
Avoid being scammed on loans Do they ask for money up front? Do they ask you to send anything by Western Union? Is it hard to find information about the company? These are three massive red flags. Don't do business with any company that works this way, no matter how desperate you are. Odds are you'll send in your "deposit" and that will be the end of it.
