One year ago, our world was forever changed. While most of us have gone back to normal lives, I think it is very important for all of us to keep things in perspective. We still have many people out there still reeling from the effects, there are mothers, fathers, sons and daughters who have lost loved ones. their situations have caused them to become deeply behind to their creditors. Others are filing BK. While most of us think our credit situation limits our opportunities, we need to remember that we still live in a free society, the opportunities available to us to recover are unique only to us. Only in this great country can we fail and fail again, only to be given another chance to succeed. Success it dependant upon only ourselves. And when there are those of us that do succeed, we need to remember to turn around and offer our hand to those who are still trying. Most importantly, we need to remember while there are those that may not be able to "charge" freedom. We still have roofs over our head, transportation, and most importantly, FREEDOM. Freedom to post our thoughts, travel and disagree with each other. I post this tonight after putting my children to bed, kissing my wife and firing up my computer, I am so lucky to live in this country. God Bless America. We lost alot one year ago, but I know, we have found so much more. â??It is not the critic who counts, not the man who points out how the strong man stumbled, or where the doer of deeds could have done better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena; whose face is marred by the dust and sweat and blood; who strives valiantly; who errs and comes short again and again; who knows the great enthusiasms; the great devotions, and spends himself in a worthy course; who at the best, knows the triumph of high achievement, and who at worst, if he fails, at least fails greatly, so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who know neither victory nor defeat.â?
