OK... I want to close some revolving accts and I need some good advice here. I have 8 total revolving accts, 1 is 3 years old (Cap1), 3 are over 12 months old, the rest are 6 to 9 months old. I NEED to close some of these accts, I would like to get it down to 5 total, including retail and visa/mc. I know I need to keep the 3 year old card. Which would hurt my score more, closing 12 month cards or 6 to 9 month old cards?
