Way to go! I got the very same letter after I asked Credit Store for validation- obviously there is a problem with recordkeeping at this agency. I was almost roped into there whole credit card scam but thought twice and sent a validation -- thank god, I didn't go for it!
I actually went for it and made (3) $35 payments to them before asking for validation. They said all amounts are being credited. I'll see if I get anything back.
Unfortunately I went for it also and in alot deeper than you around $1000 out of my pocket *sigh* . Tmitchell if possible can you email me a draft of the validation letter you used. Thnx
