    This letter is in response to your recent inquiry regarding your account. This account has been closed because we were unable to obtain original documentation from the previous lender. We will not contact you regarding the previous loan with XXXXXXX.

    We have issued credit for the settlement amount of $1,010.00. All finance charges and fees have been reversed. Your current balance is zero.

    WTG Congratz....I hope you can help guide me through on what you did since we have very similar situations on Credit Store. Also did they credit you back the payments you made to them? again congratz :) Kinetix

    Way to go! I got the very same letter after I asked Credit Store for validation- obviously there is a problem with recordkeeping at this agency. I was almost roped into there whole credit card scam but thought twice and sent a validation -- thank god, I didn't go for it!

    I actually went for it and made (3) $35 payments to them before asking for validation.

    They said all amounts are being credited. I'll see if I get anything back.

    Unfortunately I went for it also and in alot deeper than you around $1000 out of my pocket *sigh* . Tmitchell if possible can you email me a draft of the validation letter you used. Thnx
