payments. If I convince a creditor to remove lates what would a letter need to say that I could send to TU and EX to remove these late payments. Equifax has already removed them. With this letter...is it a matter of just faxing it to TU and EX and they update my report? I am purchasing a house and these lates getting removed are critical for me getting it. I know I should have started sooner. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Desperado
The answer is a 50/50 gamble... They should be able to update based only on the letter, but I've provided documentation before and got the "We are unable to use the documentation that you've provided, we're going to contact the data furnisher." etc... response, so...
Thanks for your input. So would the letter say something like The account for Joe Smith #1111111111 has been reported in and should be reported as never late paid as agreed. ?
