I used the method described here in an attempt to get some inquiries deleted from my TU report. I received a letter in the mail on Tuesday saying: Dear Consumer: The items you disputed do not appear on your credit report.... I pulled my (not) worthknowing TU (since my TU is blocked for 30 days) and all the inquiries were there and an additional one made on 11/17 so I know the WK was current. Sheesh.
Because as I said, my account is locked. Anyway, if WK had an inquiry from 11/17 it was obviously a current report. I'll pull from TU directly when I can.
Shirley, You'll probably need to wait until you get your hands on your TU report. I've noticed that WK and TU list inquiries differently. For instance I have an "Intersections, Inc." inquiry on my TU, but on WK it shows as "INT_CON_DISC". I know this because I've been yelling at Identity Guard (Intersections, Inc.) for having a hard inquiry on my TU. They assured me that it wasn't hard that it should be listed as "INT_CON_DISC". And wouldn't you know I pulled WK and thats what I see. What happened to disclosing all the information in our file to us. It sure seems there is other info that we don't get. I also see the following differences. Inquiries list as: TU:Ford Motor Credit WK:Ford Motor C TU:Novus Services, Inc. WK:Novus Svcs TU:First American Credco WK:Crdco Port
They for sure have info that they don't report to us I have a credit unions copy of a credit report with experian where they list the dates associated with your addresses. In my personal reports from experian both before and after this information is missing. Not like its the first time they broke the law

Thanks George and Christi.. looks like we got another inquiry to dispute... my dh never applied for a Discover card until this past December (was declined but the inquiry came off!)... this inquiry is scheduled to come off this summer, but what the heck... Thanks, Ozzy.
