I disputed some items that were showing up as charged off that were in in chap 13,now they send me a letter requesting copies of my list of creditors included in bk,i thought that was there job to verify or change it to what i requested,do i have to send these copies or not,and if not what is my next step,Thanks
NO NO NO!!! Don't ever supply a CRA with your BK info! You will never stand a chance of getting it removed in the future, since they will have it right in front of them! Just dispute the info. You are not required to do their job for them! If they can't verify the info, they will have to remove it. Don't make things easy for them. You will only be extending the time they legally have to verify everything if you send them additional information
Re: Letter from tu requesting bk pa This sounds weird to me. All I ever get back from CRA is a notation: "Remains. If you have documents that release you from this obligation, please forward us a copy." Very generic language. they never say anything specific like to send them a certain page of a BK. Anyway, you never have to send them anything at all and if you do everyone agrees it only verifies what you want OFF!
