hi, I had a repo back in 1994 & it is still on my credit report not once but twice. I wrote the credit bureau but they stated i had to write the collection agencies themselves first. any idea of a validation letter i can use? they have now passed it to a dift agency also, so on my credit report it looks as if i also have a repo in 2000. It was a lemon car & i disputed it under the lemon law & i even called & told them to come & pick up the car. Can anyone help me?
Ok, you say they have re-aged the account? Have you send a validation letter to the collection agency? There are many on this board to choose from, just do a search. But, this should be an easy one for the CRA. Hmmm...when you disputed with the CRA, what was your reasoning? (Not mine? Obsolete?)
