Has anyone had any luck in faxing in to the bureaus, a letter from a creditor that corrects an item?

    Sure,

Just follow up with a copy via CRRR.

Went to the county court house and received a copy of a tax lein that showed that it was not mine. Faxed to all 3 CBs and within 4 days the item had been removed. Why wouldnt this work with any and all items on reports?

    WHY!
Because 9 times out of 10 times things don't go this smooth.
What are you going to do in the other 9 case when or if you need the signed green cards but don't have them because you didn't do everything by CRRR?

The law states that the CRs are a repository for MY information. If I have a court document or letter from a creditor that adds info to MY information, they by law have to add or correct. In my letter to them, (when faxed) I state that I want to see the revision within 48 hours. I check that repport dailt to monitor
