Has anyone on this forum used Lexington Law Firm. And if so, do they produce results? I've heard they are very reputable.
I have a friend who used them.. They did have some results.. but nothing someone on their own could not get with a little reading on the subject credit repair..

D.I.Y. (DO IT YOURSELF) HOW ABOUT ALL THE "GOOD" ACCOUNTS THAT WERE DISPUTED AND LOST??? That is enough to be VERY CAUTIOUS!!! FEE BASED ON DISPUTE...NOT RESULTS (YMMV) They can DISPUTE the ones they know won't come off TIME AND TIME AGAIN!!!
Has anybody on this board ever used Lexington Law Firm? And if so, were you pleased with the results?
DO A SEARCH... The question has been asked MANY, MANY TIMES Other than them DISPUTING "GOOD" ACCOUNTS...THEY DO NOTHING THAT YOU CAN'T DO YOURSELF!!!
Re: Re: Lexington Law Firm You choose the accounts that you would like for them to dispute, so that argument isn't good anymore. But, the bottom line is that you lose control of when the disputes are sent, and this can hamper your ability to employ the strategies discussed on this forum. I used them and they were able to get 19 out of 29 negatives deleted, which is pretty good. I recently dropped them, with no problems, and I'm doing it on my own.
Re: Re: Lexington Law Firm Tiger00 is right on. It's a bad idea to use CNet strategies while Lexington is in the middle of representing you in credit repair. Some of the approaches conflict. As other posters and myself have said many times: do-it-yourself or hire someone to do it for you. It's difficult to combine the two.
Re: Re: Lexington Law Firm You know, I try to be nice most of the time but it just amazes me that you had the stones to post your question again verbatim after Doc took the time to post all of those individual search result links for you. All things considered, we're a pretty helpful group of folks here. But if you can't even be bothered to click your mouse on a hyperlink to get your questions answered, I'm not sure why any of the rest of us should bother helping you. Maybe I shouldn't read Creditnet before I've had my morning coffee...
Re: Re: Re: Lexington Law Firm Nah, its not you, somebody else suggested he read as well http://consumers.creditnet.com/straighttalk/board/showthread.php?s=&postid=359041#post359041
Re: Re: Lexington Law Firm I just got a remarkably clever email from my new friend Jason: This message was sent by Jasonc126, a member of the Creditnet Straight Talk community. ___________________________________________________ FROM | Jasonc126 mailto:Jasonc126@aol.com - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Why don't you got hell, pal? --- To answer you publically, Jason: I'm not sure why I don't got hell.
Re: Re: Re: Lexington Law Firm Oooh, yours was nicer, I can't post mine here, but one of the words rhymed with duck.
Re: Re: Re: Lexington Law Firm We're certainly laying out the welcome mat for the newbies aren't we? Did you ever consider the poster may be going through hell with creditors, is very frustrated and has come here seeking relief? We were all there once. Can we have a little compassion and understanding? :/
Re: Re: Re: Lexington Law Firm Hmmm.....Diva, maybe you haven't received your foul-mouthed email yet.
Re: Re: Re: Lexington Law Firm I'm no expert, but I think I can smell a (well-deserved) troll alert coming. Based on the randomness and abruptness of the questions asked by this particular individual.
Re: Re: Re: Re: Lexington Law Firm I haven't done anything to him. I offered advice which is the purpose of this board.
Re: Re: Re: Re: Lexington Law Firm That's a fair question. But Doc posted 63 links to answers for this guy. That's above and beyond the call of duty. For him to completely ignore Doc's post (not even saying "Thank you, but I still have a few questions.") was very rude. I think his childish emails to people who would call him on his behavior are out of line. No one here knows better than me what it's like to be completely frustrated with credit. I am all for helping others, and I've been here on the board doing so for more than two years. If someone wants to succeed here, they eventually have to be guided on what the "community" standards are. If someone took a lot of time out of their day to help me, and I was rude to them in return, I would deserve to have another member of the community call me to task. At that point, if I wasn't adult enough to take the criticism (and sent "go to hell" emails to boot) I wouldn't deserve the support of the community. In Jason's case, he can learn to accept the help offered to him here or he can ignore us and seek help elsewhere. Perhaps Lexington is a good choice for him. Since they would be getting paid to help him, he could be as rude as he wanted.
Re: Re: Re: Re: Lexington Law Firm Did you read his response to lbrown in the thread "Question For SoParkDiva?" Not sure why you would deem it acceptable for someone to heap out abuse, regardless of whether or not he's frustrated. I'm in agreement with the thought that something's not quite right with this poster.
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Lexington Law Firm I agree with you. I was very impressed with the Doc's efforts in posting those links and I was a little taken aback when the poster chose to ignore them. But everyone responds to stress differently. Maybe he is at the end of his rope. I'm not making excuses for the guy. But I was attacked unmercifully by some of the regulars so I can speak from experience. I'm still licking my wounds. I could have come back with insults and barbs but that's not my way. Maybe we can learn from this. I don't know...
