Okay -- got my TU results back in the mail today from round 3. Out of four accounts disputed, two were deleted and two were verified. The two that verified are MBNA (a $6,578 charge-off -- ick) and NCO (trying to collect the account for MBNA -- they show a balance of $7,824). Interestingly, the NCO tradeline as of the last round of disputes is showing a notation of "The following item is suppressed pending credit grantor update". That was two months ago and on my updated report it still says that. I'm not sure what that means. TU included my score along with the updated report. It's 618. I don't know how much of an improvement this is because the last score I got from TU is sitting in my desk at work.
Question? How do you get your score from TU? Can you only get it if you get your report directly from them? We get ours thrpugh an affliate here called Merchants Assoc.. I had gotten a CR, but no score. When I called they said I had to call TU in PA. Confused again, what else is new. Becky
My mailing from TU was from their Las Vegas office. They included it on their own this time. Last time I ordered from TU online.
I have gotten two reports from TU recently due to disputes. Neither one had a score. I called, the gal said I had to ask for it. So I did. They are supposed to be sending it.
Well, If I had anything to say about it, it would just be another $1246 they could just quit worrying about ever collecting and another reason I might be more inclined to take them to court and make them pay me instead. Cheap shots like that just make me all the more angry at them.
don't get confused. the credit scores tu and experian give you are NOT your fico credit scores. only equifax current allows you to see your FICO score. very important. stephen
