Well, I had a debt that was charged off that I didnt pay on, the last 2 years I was in college. So, it was sent to collections. I get a letter and I called tomake a settlement or so I thought. The agency was FMA Alliance, I asked the guy who I spoke with if they would remove the late fees and so forth. He agreed to remove them, so I said I would pay 300 a month for the next 8 months and it would be settled. 2 months after my first payment I get a letter saying I still owed the debt + fees and they were subtracting from it, so I called them back and requested that I get the agreement in writing, a bit after the fact. The get said he would send it to me "no problem". I get the bill last month and it wasnt changed called them back and requested to speak with the supervisor, and spoke to him, he said word for word "theres no way we can do it", that I must have misunderstood his employee. I am pissed off, I told them im not going to pay them another dime. They are telling me I still owe 3500. How do I deal with cc company its self??? Its chase bank.
