How long after filing BK were you able to begin reestablishing credit? Examples:cc, auto loans, etc..

i didn't even try for about 5 years...then it was apiece of cake...LOL!

i've heard people right out of bankruptcy that began to get credit again.

The more you can dispute off the TLs that were affected by the BK the better. You may have 5+ TLs with the BK that are weighing down your score. If you can dispute that down to 2 (Chase and MBNA come to mind) you are a better risk.

You can get mortgages, car loans, subprime cards but the interest rates will be sky high. Dispute first and ask for credit later, and then ask for credit you are likely to get.

It's unfortunate that the "clean start" a BK is suppose to provide hangs with you for 7 to 10 years.

Should my CR be showing how past due I was or showing that it was part of the BK? Will the past due information on accounts included in BK still show after discharge?

they should say IIB HOWEVER DO NOT DISPUTE THE ACCOUNTS IF THEY ARE REPORTING INCORRECTLY AS "INCLUDED IN BANKO". if you dispute it that way you will have difficulty disputing them off later.

yes, IMO, i think they will show, but would it really matter since it will show IIB?

Is it seven or ten years from the date of discharge that it comes off of your CR?

The same month I got my discharge I got financed for a 95 Grand AM GT for $18.5K. It was at 15% but that' was amazing for me back then. Got my first visa card 7 months after my discharge....
