I was sent invitations by both companies as I was filing my Chap 7 B.K. The Capital One offer was better. I requested and received it in Nov. 1998, the same month I filed. My attorney at the time told me that this would happen and advised me to take at least one offer.
Keep a sense of humor over what is happening. It is not the end of the world. Just don't plan on buying or leasing a Mercedes any time soon. Sorry for the bad humor. I guess I am too relaxed over my B.K. at this point.
Charles, Did you have a forclosure associated with your B.K.? If I may ask?
when you say foreclosure explain?
Did you have a house reposession as one of the items in your B.K.?
oh no i don't have anything like that
Thanks George... I was wondering why it wasn't working.
Good for you!! A forclosure complicates the B.K. I know because I had both.
