I would like my limit increased at citibank. I have a sony card and I received a 1,500.00 limit a month ago. The rep at citi said call after 3 months, then they can see. I was told that they would not run a inquiry on me then. They would go by my payment pattern. I do not want to apply for another card with citi I just want more credit. How much do they increase after 3 months without another inquiry??? Any examples out there?????
They don't they always pull a hard inquiry. Now, at 9 months, if your payment pattern is good, they will "OFFER" you a line increase, without an inquiry. They pull your credit report every 4 months, if you haven't noticed yet, as well.
Cit-gal, Lat Christmas they increased $1500 to my Sony Citi Plat Select without checking my credit and after 3 months I request another increase they denied me because they couldn't extend more credit based on the income. By the way, they made another inquiry on my Transunion credit report.
