Contact the National Lawyers Guild. The guild which is not like the more establishment American Bar Association is more interested in consumer problems than the average lawyer. They don't have a formal referral service but the executive director [check the White Pages or the web] in your city may be able to give you local names. Or consider contacting the National Association of Consumer Advocates [Boston, MA [617-723-1239]] and they [ they're mostly lawyers] may be able to help you connect with a consumer advocate lawyer in your area.
