listing of collection agency clients?

I was curious if there was any way to find out which collection agency deals with which retail stores, credit card companies, etc.

Omni Credit Services of Florida has been calling my parents' house - which I have not lived at for 7 years - repeatedly. I would prefer to not call them back as it's my policy to deal directly with the original creditor, but for the life of me, I have no idea which account they're calling about. I have worked hard over the past few months to bring all of my accounts up to date and I haven't received anything via mail from this agency.

How can I find out what they want and get them to stop calling my parents quickly without speaking with them?

Don't be afraid call them. If you are still in FL, then once you are notified of the assignment, you are obligated to "deal" with the CA. Read Chapter 559 of the FL Statutes.

Once the original creditors assign/sell the debt to a collection agency you will have to deal with that agency regarding those accounts.
