I know of something you might want to research a little.Take $10,000 or $20,000 or even $50,000 and put it in a standard checking account for six months.Go to Las Vegas or any casino and apply for credit using that checking acct. #.Your credit line will be your average balance in your checking account for the past six months. This worked like a charm a few years ago and as far as I know it still will, they would not pull a standard credit report. They just check to see if you have ever bounced a check at a casino through something called Central Credit,a service the casinos belong to.

I forgot to say,you only wanna apply at a few casinos at a time, maybe two or three to start. Then as time goes by,six months or so,apply at a few more.

this is also known as a "marker". I think what lizardking wanted to do was get free money, not huge lines of credit for gambling..

I'm not sure, but ive been told that in some states it is totally uncollectable cause it is a gambling debt.If you lived in Nevada and incurred the debt in Nevada they would be able to collect, but if you live in a state where gambling debts are not legal debts.Checkout gamblersbook.com they have a lot of legal books.

I have some friends that that happened to.. basically, they report this to the CRA's and don't really take any proactive steps in collecting.. at least from my friend's experience.
