Hi lkh, I read your post a few pages back about your experience of having your Bankruptcy removed from 2 of your credit reports. I just have a few questions if you don't mind: Was the BK actually yours? (so that it could be verified) If it was yours, was it not verified, thus the reason for the removals? RE: lkh - Question about remov It was a chapter 13 bk that was mine. I filed it after losing a court case. I was premature with it as an agreement was worked out. I therefore did not pay the remaining fees and had it dismissed. The bureaus showed it as a current bk. It should have been shown as chapter 13 bk - dismissed. I disputed it with Equifax saying there was no bankruptcy. They completely deleted it. Experian I did the same but they verified(so they claim - the bk clerk said there was no communications noted in my file) I called back to Experian and told them I din't believe they verified it and wanted to dispute it again. The rep took my dispute over the phone. I this time disputed it as filed but dismissed. About 1 week later I got an updated report showing it deleted. The 13 was filed in June of 99. Hope this answers your questions. Any more just ask.
