We pull TU every day and have for months. We also have about 4 inqs each on there. Bumpage is happening, but I can't get to the bottom of exactly how. DemPooches
it seems to have taken around 80-90 total inquiries on both my hubby's and my TU, then on thursday night last week all five of my hards disappeared, this week when I got hubby's to 90..all five of his disappeared thursday night/friday morning. YES!!!!!!!, my faco score went up 50 points, hubby's went up 30
I have had all hards removed from EQ and my hubby stills has one hard to go. When I logged on today I noticed I only had 84 inqs. The other day I had 126 inqs. It seems that EQ is now deleting excessive soft inquiries to possibly prevent bumpage. Has anyone else recently seen a considerable drop in their inquiries?
I checked the other day, and hubbys actually went up about 15 inquiries. When he got bumpage, they stayed the same for weeks. Now all hards are long gone, but the #'s are going up. Once we apply for a mortgage, I won't worry about my inquiries so much anymore. I'm fully expecting at least 3 or 4 mortgage hards in the next 6 months. It would be nice to lose a few of them, but I'm starting at 0 on EQ, 1 on TU,. and 2 on EXP (Unless there is a revival of docs trick) I won't sweat it anymore by that point. It becomes obsessive to try to get them all clean! LOL BTW, my inquiries have stayed at the same # for a couple of months. My number is low though, 124. Do you think that has something to do w/ it? I know some people are well into the 170's. Maybe that's why??!!!
Yes, you are probably correct. I hope I can get that last hard one off my hubby's report before they start "fixing" his report as well.
If your # of inq's is going up, the only possible way would be if nothing is being deleted from the bottom. Sorry to say this, it isn't completely to prevent a split file. It is also to prevent bumpage. I have had multiple inq's removed 3 times now. The first time because I couldn't get my report. Bumpage continued after that. 2nd and 3rd times, I have no idea why they did it, but, nothing is being deleted any more.
