I have lost only 1 soft inquiry since I joined CW 10 days ago. OK, I know CW has been messing with the website but maybe I am messing up too.

Should I log in once a day and view my report. Then log out. Then log back in and view my score on the same report in order to get maximum bumpage?

I have been logging in everyday and viewing my score at the same time as I view the report. Then logging out. Maybe this is why I only got 1 soft inquiry deleted.

    Any suggestions.

You're doing it right. Wait and see what happens. maybe they are fising it so it doesn't do that anymore. No one knows.

I called cust. service today to ask why the inquiries from me pulling my report are not showing up. I was told this: "I'm not positive, but they are trying to find a way to prevent reports from getting too big, and not displaying the inquiries was one of the ideas. So, maybe they just started doing this, although no one has told told us anything."

I have not had any inq's show up since the 4th. In the past, I have gone 1-2 days without them showing up and then all of a sudden they all show up. But, I have never gone 3 days before. I'll pull my report again about 9pm tonight, so I will know then if they all showed up.

"IF" HARD only hurts for 6 months...THEY NEED TO AUTOMATICALLY DROP OFF AT 6 MONTHS...

"IF" SOFT are NOT seen by any business...we should be able to check a "BOX" that we have "SEEN" the soft inquiry...and it can be removed!!!

But Inquiries are a Matter of Fact!, turn it back on them.

    TRANS UNION uses that line!!!

"BUT I DIDN'T APPLY FOR A CREDIT CARD OR LOAN FROM THIS COMPANY"

TRANS UNION---->"THE INQUIRY WAS DONE...IT IS A MATTER OF FACT"

TRANS UNION HAS A VERY WIDE OPINION OF "PERMISSABLE PURPOSE"

I have 2 reports to pull and live on the west coast so I have been pulling the 2 reports around 9:15 p.m. No problem until last night when I was told that I had already pulled the reports for the day. At 12:05 I tried to pull. They sent me some kind of message. This morning we got emails telling me my reports were ready. I pulled them today Saturday.

If you cant get thru at 9, just wait until 12. You may wind up pulling your report Sunday sometime.

Funny thing is that I know I pulled 9-6 and there is no evidence of it in the soft inq. area. But 9-7 shows 1 inq for each of us not 2.

I too saw the deal about no inquiries showing upi for a couple of days, then 2 days worth show up.

    Nothing is consistent.

I just pulled another report and thankfully all the inq's from Sept. 5,6,7 and 1 from tonight showed up. Bumpage-LKH's Trick from the bottom. As a side note, I paid for a report yesterday to see if they had shown up yet because they are back to the 1 report every 24 hrs. Well, I got 2 extra softs and 2 extra bumpages for it. An expensive way to go, but if you need to push the process a little quicker.......

Remember my last post?? Here is an update.

Yesterday, I logged into my 9-7 report twice. Last night I was unable to access my 9-8 report at 9:15. I waited until after 12:00 and got the message again.

Today emails arrived. I looked at my 9-8 report and 2 soft inquiries from 9-7 are showing. Just like I hoped.

Also, at least 3 soft inquiries not 1 have been bumped since 10 days ago. I just did not look hard enough. I am getting bumpage in the middle of my inquiries not just from the bottom up.

    My husband is the same.

Until proven otherwise, I will pull our reports once per day as allowed. But log on and review the report twice each day.

I think bumpage is still alive. But I am not about to count up 250+ inquiries and put them in a database by month and count every day.

Any one else have any comments?

    Thanks George for your comments.

LKH, since this is your trick I have another ? for you or anyone who wants to answer it. Georger already has answered it.

At the bottom of my inquiry list is an equifax soft inquiry. The 2nd inquiry from the bottom is a hard from November 2000. Why do you think this hard is being ignored and softs are being deleted from the middle?

Thanks. I realize that there may be no answer to this.

For the record, the vast majority of inq's on our reports are AR's and Eq inq's. Just a few promotionals. When you have had bad credit the cc companies tend to check up on you a lot.

Just an update. I really don't understand the math behind how bumpage works and maybe noone else does either.

But now at least 28 total softs are removed from my husbands and my reports. No hards yet. I refuse to count every inq. every day so I say at least 28.

The trick looks to be alive as of today. I pull our reports once per day and view them twice per day. I have no idea if it makes any difference. What is disapointing is that our earliest inq's including a hard are still siting on the reports.
