They ask for all this personal information which is supposed to help lenders decide what to offer you, so one would think "hey XYZ company contacted me and offered me this cc/loan". When the reality is buried in their fine print is that they are not responsible for obtaining you any offers etc. etc. are not responsible for any negative inquiries you receive in responding to these offers blah blah. Plain and simple you simply making a 'blind' application while enriching the pockets of Lending Tree who disclaims all responsibility. Its BULLSHIT your much better off going to some supersite such as eyeoncredit.com or 4creditcards.com at http://4creditcards.4anything.com/ and make your own decision
