Hi all I finally pulled the trigger on my old addresses on TU which were immediately deleted now when I go to WK to pull a free cr it says they can't authenticate it. They use old address as one of their authentications so I assume that is the issue. Has any one gotten around this? Thanks for any and all help.
wk locked me out for that...tu changed my file info... inserted a name that isn't even close to name I use now. (creditor updated and info came from them). Also, they changed my address to somewhere I've never lived. I just started playing with the authentication info (read the part about authentication) and voila, t let me in. Sure wah shocked to see the different name and address info. Had to fix all of that through tu. Play with the authentication stuff. Tu must have changed an address or something for it not to come up.
Hmmm.... Well I pulled a fresh TU report. I had played with authentication some what. I will try some more. I have some CA inquiries on TU only that I would love to bump. Thanks for the post!
Be careful playing with tu at tu site...it will lock you out. This happened to me while I was trying to figure out where the hec my file went. Though tis split or something, but it was the personla info change that kept them from authenticating. Got locked out for a week! Now, if you get locked out through the FICO score with report, theres a way to pull the free onetu that isn't locked (different passowrd stuff altogether). But I'm sure you already know this, so I'l shut up now, lol.
Good call. I changed a closed acct to open and it worked. Funny WK before always said it was closed. Bumpage here I come!
Was a real booger to figure out. Relieved when I found the file, but pissed at wrong info! I had a triple split with tu a couple months ago. They kept sending me totally different reports. Finally got them all merged after I realized how many times it split...what a P.I.T.A.! Now, anythime something funky happens, even if I get deletions, lol, I call them and say "My file hasn't split again, has it?" They usually just laugh with me.
