LOL! I received fake summon from

    hehe it's intended for dumb customers not members of this forum, real summons not printed on toilet papers and dont come by first class mail without docket number or court date

    keep it. it's a violation of the fair debt collection practices act. read it and you will see you can now sue them for their deceptive practices (I'd turn it over to your state's atty general too).

    what they're doing is illegal not just funny. and, if you sue them, they cannot sue you back for the corresponding debt

    That is all kinds of ILLEGAL!! You may also want to write a letter to the AG (Elliot Spitzer) in their home state of NY. His office eats abusive collection agencies for breakfast.

    With the FDCPA Summons I would be sending claiming my statutory $1000 damages I would enclose a note suggesting in the future, when they send these things out, just enclose $1000 so you won't have to clutter the courts suing them for FDCPA violations.
