I have had problems with my internet, but I am back now. I am working on my Experian report right now, and I cannot seem to get one of my entries off. Do anyone of you know whether CBT Aspire is a OC or CA. I have never heard of them.

Also, what do I do about a reinsertion that EXP claims it does not have to remove. One of my creditors (not Gulf State amazingly) just reinserted - same acct #, same everything. EXP claims its not a reinsertion.

    Thanks

CBT Aspire (Columbus Bank and Trust) is an original creditor.

Evil Experian strikes again! I would love to hear their logic how once deleted its not reinsertion? Probably have to sue them.

    Welcome Back!

I have learned when dealing with CRA's to keep records of EVERYTHING. Do you have a copy of the deletion rocket? Or copies of the EXP reports 1)w/ the negative 2) without the negative 3) then again with the negative?

If so, I would send a letter to EXP, showing these reports and demand IMMEDIATE DELETION, or else......

Here is the FCRA section for reinsertion:

I believe they are claiming it to be a new original entry never reported previously.
In which case it would not be a reinsertion.

Thats what they are saying. THe OC changed their name slightly, but the TL has the same exact account number, crreditor address, everything. EXP claims its a new TL.

    EXP has no credibility.
