I need assistance on writing a letter to the CRA's when they have previously removed an inaccurate credit line from a report then two months later puts it back on.

Also, any help with the law on this would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

Did they send you the 5 day notice?

No, there was no notice at all. We applied for a mortgage two months after the deletions and the items were back on.

We need to be careful with newbies on this one Brownie.

This is a trick question. :)

You said the item was "removed" but you didn't say why.

If one month an account simply disappears, and then next month re-reports, they're not required to notify you.

If, on the other hand, if it was deleted BECAUSE you disputed it, then they are required to notify you.

So, ... did it come off because you disputed this directly with the CRA?

    ???
