Hello, I got a L&T card last year after being denied then talking with a customer service rep. Line started at $200.00, bumped to $500 after three months, then last month they bumped it to $1500.00. They seem pretty flexible, I had a Filenes card with a $5000K balance discharged through BK7 in 97. BJ
I was approved for a Kauffmans card earlier this month. I can use the card at Lord & Taylor and all of the other May company stores. They checked TU and my TU fako was just over 600. I was approved for 500. I called them about a higher CL and was told they would review in 4 months.
My L&T acct started at 1,000 4 years ago. It was raised iby 100 increments a couple of times. This has been enough credit because most of their items are fairly reasonably priced. Make sure and pay them on time because they are quick to charge a 25 late fee.
How likely do you thing it would be that May would approval for another one of their stores now that I have L&T? BJ
I applied & was approved for my Lord & Taylor acct back in 1995, & they started me w/$300 c/l. After about 6-9 mths,they raised me to $2100 (but asked to lower since would NEVER would imagine carrying a balance due to APR). Sister Girl
By the way, you can use any May dept store card in another division of the May dept stores, e.g., a Hects card in Lord & Taylor or vice versa.
