I have a question for anyone who may know.. I was looking on my report, and I have a credit card that shows.. loss/stolen Paid as agreed, and then I have the same account, different credit card number (new Issue) Never late... Would the score consider this one positive account, or would it interpret it as 2? I guess it would be speculation. Thanks

I too hope it doesn't affect my rating as I recently have two of those: loss/stolen paid never late. Losing my cards left and right, :(

    hth :)

Let me guess...Providian? I had the same problem with a BS 350.00 card they sent. I had to call Providian and have them remove it. My score rose 7 points.

I had a card LOST IN THE MAIL...they REFUSED to print "LOST IN THE MAIL"...

It finally was gone after 6 months of disputing it...

The problem is that if a "REAL" person looks at your credit report...THEY WILL ASSUME YOU LOST IT!!!

What did you say to Providian to remove. I have the same deal. Card lost or stolen. What crap?
