I lost my driver's license at the airport. Can someone who found it commit fraud on my CC's or other accounts with it? It does not have my SSN on it... but it has my current address. Thanks!
Call your local Dept of Hway Safety and report the DL as lost\stolen. Ask them what forms you need to fill out. The baddies can go to DHSMV and apply for another DL with the info they have and if they chose to commit a crime with it you will be dealing with criminal identity theft. It's even more difficult to clean up than credit reports. Pull your credit reports and look for fraudulent activity. Those are just counter measures, maybe nothing will happen but better be prepared.
