    Hello All..

Just something I found this morning when I checked the 30 day free credit manager site ... I thought I would share. On Feb 8th we took a new15 yr mortgate from BofA ( 6.99) to pay off Wells Fargo 30 yr at 8.865% which really didn't save much as we hoped as we have overpaid the loan since taking it 1992. Anyway to my point.. The Wells Fargo Account is listed as PAID ZERO balance and the new BofA Loan is not showing.. can you guess? The score went DOWN 13 points!! From 721 to 708.. It will be interesting to see if the score goes back up when the new mortgage loan appears. Our cc debt load is listed at 21,000 and something.. a about 2K high because Citi-Bank is NOT reporting that we paid them off with a 2.9 ( 6M) Juniper.. so the debt is showing up double. I've put in for an investigation last week.. but no response yet.

As to Citi not reporting. They have not reported for me for six months which has killed my score because I paid it down by $7500. I got a FAX number for them for a department that will post with the CRA's if you complain. I don't have it now but I posted the number a few weeks ago.

I finally got a response yesterday after three weeks and they said they sent corrected info to all three CRA's. So you may want to give that a try. Just look for my post from about three weeks ago about Citi reporting.

Me too! I got an Experian last week and my AMEX and a regional bank I carry a cc balance with have not report balances since Oct. and, I've reduced the balance on each one by $500. That's a $1000 more debt showing than I actually carry.

I've actually had the same thing happen to me, but to my benefit. I got my Citibank card in 12/01, and they started reporting right away, I have BT'd my providian (which updates every month) and charged on Citibank, but Citi is still reporting a zero balance (and it's $3000) and Providian is showing a $0 balance, so FOR ONCE it's working in my favor. However, on TU Citi is reported as an AU when I am the responsible on and hubby is AU, AND TU just removed Citibank as wells as his AU Providian, so now he's down to ONE positive tradeline and 5 collections.
