Lost/Stln card=duplicate 30dayLates? In November 2000 my credit card was lost. That very month I went 30 days late. The card was reissued, I paid the bill and everything was fine...I thought. When I checked my credit, I saw that both the "Lost/Stolen" card and the new credit card (same account) were listed as separate items, and that BOTH had the 30-day late recorded. So, instead of one 30-day late, I now have two trade-lines with 30-day lates! How should I dispute this? I don't neccessarily want to make the whole (both) tradeline dissappear, since it's my oldest tradeline. (This happened with both my discover & bank1 visa cards--my wallet was lost)
