increase! Yup...I'm just so excited. I've been reading about these BTs for a while now and couldn't figure out how or why, but this morning it clicked. I called up Cap One and told them I had $1500 I wanted to BT from Providian. They couldn't give me the entire $1500, but increased one card by $500 and another by $200. So I am BTing $700. The offer I just received for another Platinum MC expires *after* my 45 day waiting period, so I'm going to wait until just before...send it in and do another BT because it is at 0% until Sept. On the Platinum I received two weeks ago, I will do a BT there as well for 0% interest. This should help my scores because Providian reports card limits and right now they are showing close to maxed. It will be better for those to have the zero or close to balance, right? Because my available credit goes up quite a bit by getting those two paid off. Anyway...I'm rambling...just so excited. I don't know when my last increase was...I've never asked for one before...they just did it automatically. I've had one of the cards (the one increased by $500 for a couple of years and the one they increased by $200 I've had maybe four months or so. L
