Hello can anyone help me, my computer went loco on me so I had to do a fdisk on it. I wasn't sure what I was doing and deleted largest partition then put in restoration disk and booted from there. I have windows ME OS. Now I have hardly any disk space on my c drive. where as before the reformat I had alot. I can not install any programs or software needed to do my on line schooling or anything else everytime I try I get the message that Warning: low disk space on c drive. How do I get my space back I once had? The computer is a HP Pavillion 512MB.
before the problem I had causing me to have to reformat I had yahoo messenger, AIM messenger, Office XP and tons of other programs and still had alot of space. Now I have nothing but windows and yahoo on my computer I can't even put in my office xp so I can do my homework. It also says Disk compression is not installed under system properties, could this be my problem?

desperate here any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

I'm not to familiar with ME but try this, go to start, programs, accessories and look for system tools. If you have that there should be a system restore. Restor your system to before you did what you did to it or the last restore point. Also check out this site, its a forum like this but for computer help:

It sounds like when you did the fdisk and deleted the large partition, you left the smaller (often a system restore partition) active, and did not recreate a new large partition?

Then you did a restore from installation CD?
The installation CD probably looked only at the remaining partition (the smaller one) and your files got restored there

you need to do fdisk again, and delete all partitions from the disk, then do system restore from cd's
