I got the Lowes Pre-Approved mailer yesterday (up to $1,500.00 Credit Limit). I was discharged from Chap 7 exactly 3 years ago October. I already have the Exxon Mobile ($100 CL) and Orchard Bank ($950 CL) which I think are also Monogram Bank of Georgia. Well I thought 'what the heck' and took my pre-approved slip into Lowes today and well.... She had to call the credit department but she came back and said yup approved with a $1000.00 Limit. She even filled out a temp Lowes card (expires in 10 days) until my real card arrives. I wasn't going to apply for a while but the pre-approved and for Lowes and well.....had to. I only wish it was for Home Depot since I always go to HD and not Lowes. Nice to have the card though.
