As a little poll, what is the lowest FICO/cr score ever received by another credit net person?

Before anyone says it, this shouldn't include a score of 0, which you get when you have no credit...

Ok, I'll start. When I began my own credit repair as an active member of this board back in mid-2001 (I lurked for a few months before jumping in -- so my start date was actually early 2001), my Equifax-based FICO score was 564. Who can top (er, negatively speaking) that?

My dh. Mine were lower before April. I'll be pulling new scores in 2 weeks. Just have to get my debit Visa. Hope mine have gone up and not down. These are scores based on a pull for a mortgage.

Well I finally beat Doc at something! Actually DH did:

    11/3/02 Day One EQ Fico - 526
    TU was 430 something (FAKO)
    Experian was 436

He is in the low 600 club now.

    What's his prize?

My FICO score was 400 something when I bought my car at loan shark rates 4 years ago.

SoParkDiva, you have been disqualified from this contest for being too vague. Every entry requires a number. Even though your apparent dementia only allowed you to tease us with "400 something," the rest of us are left wondering which one of the following it was:

    Was it 400 or 401 or 402 or 403 or 404 or 405 or 406 or 407 or 408 or 409 or 410 or 411 or 412 or 413 or 414 or 415 or 416 or 417 or 418 or 419 or 420 or 421 or 422 or 423 or 424 or 425 or 426 or 427 or 428 or 429 or 430 or 431 or 432 or 433 or 434 or 435 or 436 or 437 or 438 or 439 or 440 or 441 or 442 or 443 or 444 or 445 or 446 or 447 or 448 or 449 or 450 or 451 or 452 or 453 or 454 or 455 or 456 or 457 or 458 or 459 or 460 or 461 or 462 or 463 or 464 or 465 or 466 or 467 or 468 or 469 or 470 or 471 or 472 or 473 or 474 or 475 or 476 or 477 or 478 or 479 or 480 or 481 or 482 or 483 or 484 or 485 or 486 or 487 or 488 or 489 or 490 or 491 or 492 or 493 or 494 or 495 or 496 or 497 or 498 or 499?

So perhaps you'll spare us any further indignities. I've been sitting here now for several minutes torturing myself wondering which one of those numbers it was. Now I'm just plain tuckered, worn out, and angry. And it's all your fault, SoParkDiva! I was going to start up a petition of Creditnetters who are against your participating in a contest like this ever again, but good sense got the best of me.

Oh what the heck. Here is the formal petition after all:

    You guys are good.

My brother tried _hard_ to get the lowest fico ever, including a ton of public judgements, bad car leases, forgotten student debt, not to mention around $20k purely in credit card debt that he just stopped paying around 1998.

Checking his EQ report (which is still in shambles) at the start of this summer and his fico was a 521.

By now it might be down a few more points, but you have really got to have some skill to make the 400s!

Well right now my eq is 475, my ex is 575 and don't have a TU. Hubby does not have a TU or EX AND EQ is 474. YUCK. I am not so thrilled about this, but a BK from 1997 and a judgement from a month after that, I know it shouldn't be there, it was an item included in in BK, but waiting for validation to not take place. On top of that I have medical collections, and some collections from GA that are not ours, that keep verifying. As soon as I get some more money I will send CRRR to get them to validate or not, and then make them delete I hope.

Actually, I think most of the Fair-Issacs/Beacon scoring models start with a score of 350 just for having a social security number. So unless a consumer does not have a social security number - which would make it very difficult to see ones credit report - it should not be possible to have a score below 350!

I currently have a 520, down from a high of 704 earlier in the year.

At least I can say we are good at something :) LOL!

We had not been able to pay bills in several months, and our car payments were behind. EVERYTHING just about was showing 120 days + past due, when I came up with the money to start fixing things.

Once things go to chargeoff, your scores improve (sad isn't it). So given some hard choices, we caught up most everything, paid a couple of things off, and let 3 things go to CO. Still working on those...

Combine that with some disputes, threatening ITS letters, etc., we are where we are now. Still a long road ahead of us. But there is something about 600 that makes you able to hold your head up just a wee bit higher :) Maybe its because at that point FICO usually comes up with one POSITIVE comment rather than reading your score and seeing Top Positive Factors? - see Top Negative Factors. :)

I had a TU Fako of 350 when I started credit repair last december, and that was with 10 years of credit history! They had my mortgage listed twice, doubling my amount of real estate debt. I had 7 recent charge offs and numerous late pays and no open current accounts without negative notations at all.

I have seen a lot of reports and the lowest score I have ever seen is 454 (NOT MINE--thank goodness!)

30something % avail-- tons of liens, judgements and chargeoffs.

I had never seen anything below 530 or so before that.
