    You should also remember that there is some shared ownership between Iplace and Qspace, with the two being sister companies, especially if it was pulled on equifax.

    "IPlace-Disclosure" is a soft inquire. Isn't it?

    You didn't say if the inquiry was on equifax but it still sounds like you tried to get a report or score from someone else that may have accessed iPlace for the info ie;
    www.iplace.com
    www.qspace.com
    www.consumerinfo.com
    www.freecreditreport.com and others.
    I do not recommend them at all in any way and suggest staying away from them at all cost.

    Try calling Iplace in the morning.This is the only contact info I have;

    Sheldon Lim
    Product Manager
    iPlace.com
    Tel: (714)385-2123
    Fax: (714)978-0060
    http://www.iPlace.com
    Email: slim@iplace.com"

    Geo ,this is what equifax said about it being hard.
    From; @equifax.com Mon Apr 02 14:2001

    As per our earlier conversations, this is to confirm that Equifax inquiries along with those of our link partners, such as QSpace, are not calculated in your BEACON score.

    If the inquiry is displayed to the credit grantor, then BEACON has logic to bypass it if it is not associated with an actual application for credit.
    ------------------------------------------------------------
    Great, but that doesn't tell me that the other thousands of other in-house scoring systems have the logic, especially since
    it looks to me like they have tried to increase the error/defect rate on other second party score systems that don't have the logic to bypass it in their scores.

    I AGREE WITH GEORGE...SOMEONE IS PULLING YOUR REPORT, OR TRYING TO FROM Q-SPACE OR iPLACE.

    MAYBE THEY ARE TYPING IN THE WRONG NUMBER OR SOMETHING BUT I WOULD CALL.

    When I first started applying for credit I messed up a couple of times on the first 3#'s of my SS#...somebody probably got a "HARD" put on their report also...
