LTD anyone?

Has anyone heard of LTD financial services out of Houston? A very rude lady from that company has been calling my work number and leaving messages for me to contact her reference a "form I have received". She is now faxing my work fax seeking verification of employment - as I am the person responsible for verifying employment I faxed back that we only do that with a signed release (true).

Anyway - I finally gave in and called her back and she says she cannot tell me what she is contacting me about. She has all the tell-tale signs of a collections person but is making me really nervous as she won't disclose the reason for her needing to verify. she has not started calling my secretary and asking her for verification - she knows the policy and refuses to verify without a signed release. She obviously knows that I work here but seems to want proof of that in writing.

Just wondered if anyone else has had interactions with this company and knows whether they are a collections agent?
