Ok guys.. I am really still new to all of this - no lawyer blood in me whatsoever - so go easy on me :)

    I have this account:

    LVNV FUNDING

    Account No.: xxxxxxxx**** xxxxxxxxx**** xxxxxxxxx****
    Condition: Derogatory Derogatory Derogatory
    Balance: $xxxxx $xxxxx $xxxxx
Type: Factoring company account Unknown - credit extension, review, or collection Collection
    Pay Status: Collection/Chargeoff Collection/Chargeoff Late 120 Days

I have been fighting this off my CR for months now - and it keeps getting validated as a debt :(

I found the following 6 violations that could apply - but again I don't speak lawyer tongue..

#. Defendant violated 15 USC 1692e(2)(A) by falsely characterizing the account as a "factoring company" account.

#. Defendant violated 15 USC 1692e(2)(A) by falsely reporting the legal status of the account as not in default.

#. Defendant violated 15 USC 1692e( by communicating credit information which is known or which should be known to be false, by reporting the account as a "factoring company" account.

#. Defendant violated 15 USC 1692e(10) by using any false representation or deceptive means to collect or attempt to collect any debt by reporting the account as a "factoring company" account.

#. Defendant violated 15 USC 1692e(12) by alleging that the account was a "factoring company" account resulting in the false representation or implication that accounts have been turned over to innocent purchasers for value.

#. Defendant violated 15 USC 1692f by using unfair or unconscionable means to collect or attempt to collect any debt by reporting the account as a "factoring company" account to deceive current and potential creditors and to negatively impact Plaintiff's credit scores

Can anyone offer some advice on what I should do. If those 6 violations apply - I have way more than what they are wanting to claim from me in what they think I owe...

    Advice ? Links to read?

    TIA
