Ok, so after I've taken care of the rest of my reports, I saved the Best/Worst for last.. LVNV... I'm still much of a n00b so I appreciate any help anyone can offer.

We have received letters in the past from Allied Interstate from over a year ago - with a copy of a Sears statement, not even sure if it is real or not. The last statement I have from Sears shows a payment in 2001.

How do I find out the last payment officially to see if this is truely SOL?

The next set of letters is from Northland Group, but states on one letter it is LVNV funding, the other states that it is Resurgent.

    Who do I DV ?

How do I get them on these violations?

I believe Northland was one of the companies that called me at work, and I worked out a plan to take money out of my checking acct (yeah I know..) a year or so ago before I knew better. I sent them a letter stating that they no longer had the right to take money from my account, since this was my husbands debt, and not mine after I realized the amount we owed never went down even after paying them. I paid them about 600.00 before I realized this. This was before I even talked to my husband about it. They hounded me on the phone, I felt as if I didn't have a choice. I don't think that could have restarted the SOL, I'm not sure. We currently reside in PA. SOL is 4 years. The account was either started in TX or PA, but either state apparently has a 4 year SOL. This account was what started my interest in credit repair, I started small - now I'm left with this big one...
