I would like to apply for Macyâ??s card. I heard this is easy to get card. But before I apply I would appreciate if I could find which CRA they pull in NY? Does it matter if I apply on line or in the store? Do they report to all 3 CRA's? Thanks.

Thank you Ron! Is there any negative experience regarding these cards? How often they increase credit limit? If I apply for Target guest â?? should I apply first for Target Visa and if Iâ??m declined they will probably going to offer me Target Guest anyway â?? without pulling second hard?
Jason, I don't have Macys Card. I have target Guest card for almost five years now and don't have any problems with them. You can increase limit increase by request through phone automation and pay it on-line (deducted from checking account and post it immediately). They pulkled credit from Equifax. If you denied for Target Visa and they will consider for Target Guest card. I heard it is tougher to get Target Visa right now. Actually, I have both cards from them. Ron.
Jason, I've had Macy's for years, but inactive. When I called to get a new card, they said no problem, but I later found out they pulled Ex. It was my lowest score and they gave me a cl $1200. I'm in NY too. Hope this helps.
THANK YOU SO MUCH! That's what I needed - Experian! I wasn't sure since I've seen at one list Equifax. But Experian works for me! Do they report every month to CRA? Any problems with them? I've heard they don't process payments on time - is it true? Once again, thanks.
Jason, stay away from this card. It is easy to get but CL is very low. $100 Beside this, they don't report this card. And if they report, it takes up to 6 months to show up. Also don't be so happy with Experian - I've heard they pull Equifax also in NY. So it's not 100% sure. You don't want to get hard inquiry for nothing. If you need department store card go with JC Penny, I've heard only good things about them. And they are easy to get also. Good luck. Denny
Re: Macy's card - which CRA they pu Jason, sorry it took so long for me to respond. They immediately reported to all three, along with the updated cl. Much faster than Cap 1, which is maybe two months behind.
Re: Macy's card - which CRA they pu Whoops, forgot your second question. It's been only one payment cycle--but it's true, it took forever for my check to get cashed. Maybe paying online would be faster, I don't know.
