This is interesting. I called from inside the store once and asked for a $400 increase on my $400 limit without an inquiry. The girl was really nice and told me I could have more so I asked for $600. I got it. I have had a $1K card since December. This is all I really need. What is sam's trick?
MP$40, Sam's trick is where you put everything into dispute and then apply for credit. He said it worked with Target and CitiBank. Not Sears or AMEX. I have always beeen too chicken to try it. I just want my ratios to look better, so I will probably wait six months and try for just a gas card. I don't really have a use for a Macy's card other than to improve my ratios. George, I know, I know, $800 for a hard. I don't don't like accumulating inquiries either but it didn't seem like I would get an increase any other way. I figured that if I did it now, all the sooner for the two years to be up. And my credit looks decent right now so I thought I should go for it.
