Just got a letter in the mail today from Macy's. I had requested to be upgraded to the Premier Visa. The letter stated: There was a customer service number at the bottom so I called. I gave them the info and asked why they needed it. They stated that when my card arrives (so I'm approved right? Humm...) that they need that information on file for when I activate my card. I guess that info is part of the activation process. So I asked the rep if the upgraded process had been already done and that they just needed this info and she said yes. I still wasn't quite clear if I was approved for the card or not so I just flat out asked her and she said yes! :-D
Could you tell me where I can apply their card?I didn't see Macy visa on their web site.Thanks in advance.
The Macy's Visa is available ONLY to current Macy's customers. You just can't apply for it like you can the Target Visa. If you have a Macy's account, call customer service and ask if you qualify to be upgraded. You have to have over $1k in annual purchases. If they say that you qualify, they will transfer you to the Visa people who will tell you about the card and submit the request. If you do not have a Macy's card, you have a ways to go. You have to get a Macy's account and spent $1k.
