WAL*MART raised my credit line like the third or forth month...

George, I got the card in March. Anyway, I think it was upped when I got my replacement card when my wallet was stolen. Something similar happened w/ my citibank replacement card.

Macys and Wal-Mart are both GE Capital cards, meaning Monogram Credit Card Bank of Georgia. They use the same credit review and scoring process.

BTW, I'm a former GE Card Services employee ....

Only some of Macy's cards are GE's; Others - mine included - are FDS Bank's. The card agreement says they may be issued by either one.

Actually, Macy's has been buying many of the GE accts back.

The current mix is GE now just under 20% of total accts.
Expect that mix to go lower.
