Please don't think me insensitive to the horrific ween this has been for America, but I feel the need to relieve the tension on my overloaded senses and dabble in life's mundane things, such as snooping at each other's mail. On that note... What a disappointment my mail carrier is to me today. I got 2 pieces of junk mail and a shipment of "Oxi-Clean" household cleaning solutions I ordered after watching it on television. I almost never succumb to those ads, but I had to try this one. If anyone's interested I'll let you know how it works. The 2 junk pieces were a Grand Opening for a new Wells Fargo bank with free stage coach rides, balloons, prize drawings and giveaways (it's around the corner -- might be a tension reliever at that.) And 12 coupons for Macy's Fall Sale. Ho-hum...
I got: 1- Discover Platinum invitation 2- Rebate check for $17.50 from my college. Other than that, nothing exciting.
Hope, I could certaintly use the levity of mail call today. Thanks. Today the mail brings a pre-approval* from Orchard. Up to $1000.00 Oh boy! Amex pre-approval for an additional card for a friend or family member. Hmmm. I don't think so. AAA renewal notice. AAA has saved my a**. I will send them some more money. Let us know how Oxi-Clean works Hope. Looks like fantastic stuff.
Hope, The Oxiclean is great stuff, I have been using all their products for a couple of years. The only product I did n't like was some kind of spot remover in a can, it smelled awful. I'm glad I can buy it in the stores now, instead of ordering it. Loni
Because I am at work, I can only reflect on yesterday. Target - told me NO..I guess I still have some work to do. Equifax - put something back on that was previously deleted and then told me in my results that somethingis deleted but it is still on my report. I called their rep who was a "whipper-snapper". Nasty attitude. For the first thing she wants me to fax it in to them. WILL DO TONITE. Got my fiancee's CR...Nasty Gulf State and NCO stuff on there. Got a packet for him to consider the Reserves (I don't think so)! I am ready to try help from JUNUM or LEX..I will try two more rounds and that is it for me. I will seek professional help (like from a shrink! LOL)

Bills A warning that my card was not protected by........blah blah blah.....quick sign up now... Equifax dispute results re incorrect acount statuses and balances...... all but one satisfactory. They claim Cap One is saying my closed account is "not closed." Took it up with Cap One today. An adjustment -$90 to my bank account - I transposed the figures on my last deposit. how blonde!! not a bad day all in all, but nothing juicy.
I got NADA. ZIP, ZILCH. 2 days...(due to tradgedy??) Getting bummed out. My poor mail box and post got knocked over by the City guy that picks up shrubbery in the front of our lawns. (I'm New to the South, had a huge green can to put that stuff in in CA) Here we just lug it out to the little ditch in the front and they come and scoop it up. The guy said he didn't even know he did it. Some lady (my Guardian Angel?) saw him do it and told him he did it!! So he came back and apologized, said there'd be someone here to fix it, NOT!!! Maybe my mail guy doesn't want to bend down to put my stuff in my box (that's laying on the ground!) or He just doesn't want to get out of his little truck. oh well, hope everyone else has better luck..
newstdt, I think you should prop up your mail box until it's officially repaired (hound the officials responsible). Seems I recall (from growing up in the South) that they won't deliver your mail if the box is lying on the ground.

Received Helzerg Card .........2500 limit Recieved Radio Shack Card .......750 limit Dish Bill AT &T Bill Colletion Bill from an Amoco acct from 96 want to settle 60% of the account....may send the $100. Oh and another thing for me a denial by Helzberg after pulling my EQ report. Not surprised.
