Received my spanking new citi aadvantage silver with a $5000 limit today.

Before even activating it I called to upgrade it to a citi platinum select.

I was always wondering if one could have multiple platinum select cards. Well you can ( you're right VJ)

So now I have 2 platinum selects cards. one for $10.000 and one for $5000.

    Thats enough for me :)

My AmEx Blue arrived today! :)

The bad news: my request to increase the LOC from $3,000 to anything higher was declined.

The good news: I did indeed get the 9.99% fixed APR card! (0% for the first six months!)

GEORGE, YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE ANY WORTHWHILE MAIL. HERE'S WHY: YOU HAVE A PERFECT PAYMENT HISTORY SINCE 1970. YOUR FICO SCORE IS 710, AND YOUR WIFE'S FICO SCORE IS 742. YOU ARE ON THE PERMANENT NO-FUN LIST.

    Doc :)

I forgot to mention that "Aspire" sent me a pre-approved offer Saturday. Get this:

    APR: 29.75%
    Delinquency APR: 35.75%

Oh my God! :) Anybody who's any good with Excel should run these numbers for fun. These APRs are so high, they're the next best thing to slavery! You could pay forever if you ran a balance and end up doubling, tripling, quadrupling, etc., the cost of anything you financed long-term. I'm simply awestruck at the size of their collective executive balls. Aren't there laws against usury?

What would they do if you make $100,000+ and had a F.I.C.O. 700+ DEBT TO CREDIT LIMIT OF LESS THAN 10% ???

Probably DENY you if you "APPLIED" for a LARK???
