Hello, I would like to give a MAILBOX address as a home address for my credit cards. MAILBOXES ETC, USPS, UPS MAILBOX rental is no good because the following would show on my credit report: "Notices: This address may be perceived as high risk since it is a non-residential address, POSSIBLE MAIL DROP!" The perfect solution would be renting a MAILBOX at a little office like a Notary Public or an Accounting office. Does anyone know any possibilities to rent such a MAILBOX in New York City, Brooklyn, Bronx or Quince. Could anyone help please? The reason I need this is that I move a lot and it is always a big hassle to change the address for my credit cards, and it is difficult to shop online because the credit card address and the shipping address most of the time must be the same and since I am not at home during the day I cannot give my home address as a shipping address. The MAILBOX rental service includes receiving packages as well. Peter
You don't have to have the PHYSICAL address for anything other than opening the account, for Patriot Act compliance. As soon as you receive the card, you can change your address (or add the MAILING address) to the BOX.
